Because of that , Walker V Painting hires candidates that show high aptitude for good character, a good work ethic, and a sense of being made for something greater. Each employee gets regular one to one time with Caleb to check in on how life is going and help them set goals for their next steps in life.

Five years ago, founder Caleb Walker Vanhoozer had a moment of captivation with the concept of restoration. He realized that there was something each of us could do to make the world into a better, brighter place, and that hope could be achieved through the slow and steady process of transformation. 

As the dream unfolded, Caleb realized he needed both training in the business realm and deep character development. That’s where this company comes in. With 6 years of painting experience, Caleb launched Walker V Painting knowing the sheer joy that a fresh, new paint job brings to a client. Finding that sense of joy brings us more satisfaction than the paycheck at the end of the project, so we make it our goal to give every client the best job we can.

As for the long term dream? A discipleship program formed with the same principles. Restoration, deep character development, and releasing leaders into the world in hopes of leaving it better than we found it. It’s Caleb’s hope to someday run his 6-month intensive training program from a functional ranch where participants can work hard, grow in their faith, learn how to get along with those who are different, and who will eventually return to their respective communities to foster the same attitudes there.
